I could go for some Sonic Jam right now.
It's funny he mentioned going into the background. When I was a kid I imagined that Sonic 2 would be just Sonic going through the backgrounds of each level, and then I lied to my cousin for some reason and said I had it on fact that this was what Sonic 2 would be. Now that I think about it I lied all the time as a kid for no reason, just to have a conversation. Maybe there's so little to talk about as a kid that you have to just start making shit up, because you don't know anything interesting yet and you're not sure what the rules are. Or maybe that was just me.

No, I remember kids doing that a lot, especially about video games. I remember lying to my sister that I had finally gotten past the submarine level in Super Mario Land that we could never beat (I was like 3 years old and she was a girl), and then weirdly enough the next time I played I managed to beat it for the first time. That was the day I learned that lying solves everything.

I wasn't a filthy goddamn liar like you guys but I always suspected that my cousins were lying to me about their videogame achievements. If only we had achievement points back then!

I remember the crazy lying that went on about the Mortal Kombat games around where I lived. Kids talking about characters that don't exist that they unlocked, extra gore codes, double fatalities, all sorts of crap that got my gullible ass excited for no reason. Jerks.
Lying to impress/because you don't have anything else to say is fairly common even in adults, I think, but it's definitely more common in kids. Kids are lying assholes. Because it's fun!
EDIT: Oh and zig, those videos are disturbing. And who would run around on a treadmill like that in a park? And how would you get it out there to start out with? And if you're going to run outside, why not just run outside? Isn't the point of a treadmill to be able to run inside?
My point is I want one

Really neat!
Edit: But seriously, eff this kid for not properly explaining that while the sample from "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" is altered (ie. slowed down slightly) for use in Kanye West's "Stronger" it is essentially a Daft Punk feature.
Why not just speed it back up and say OR LIKE UHH HBFS and do that.
