The Holy Grail of black people information

So, Chris Rock made a documentary about black people's hair, which as a white person is like the most mysterious thing in the world to me.  I once casually touched a black kid's head while chaperoning a field trip, which in retrospect seems a little weird.  But it's just so goddamn fascinating!  Watching the emphasis that Spike Lee's Malcolm X puts on straight hair was my first lesson that black people can't just straighten their hair the way white people do.  And the whole idea of not being able to wash it or comb it or whatever once it's "done up," not to mention all the business about weaves, it's just way over my head and actually sounds really horrible for black people.  I'd totally go fro if I was a black dude.

I haven't seen the Michael Moore movie yet, but this is much more interesting to me and it'd be a little hilarious if Moore lost this year's Oscar to a movie about afros.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to this. Fun and informative! I think I might have touched a black kid's head before also, we should start a club/website/band/business.

By the way, in a recent interview about this with Aint It Cool News Chris Rock said that he would "love, love to do another Pootie Tang." Then he tried to remember if him and Louis C.K. talked about Bruce Willis being either the bad guy or Pootie's sidekick, and then he launched into "what can only be described as giggle fits." Sa da tay!
