I saw it on reddit, it has also been on Digg's front page since then.

Man I just cannot get over how popular it was to cross your arms and stand back-to-back or shoulder-to-shoulder, especially since not a single person ever could do it and look remotely comfortable or natural. I can't think of anything before or since that even comes close to that.

I am saddened to find another Spacebat salute video just as epic as mine, probably more so, uploaded a full day before mine. ![]()

I kind of want to be a dick and say that version wipes the floor with yours, but yours is funnier. I think the quote about the bat dying instantly clinches it, it's pure Glasgow.

Thanks, because my knee jerk reaction is that hers is much funnier. Obviously there's more going on in the other one, which was kind of a kick in the nuts to see after staying up to finish mine and upload it. If I had to do it over I think I probably would have stuck with the more moderate pace of mine but maybe thrown in some more space footage like hers. The part with the earth rotating with the overlayed picture of the bat on it is awesome.
The people have spoken, though. Her video has like 60,000 views and mine is around 200. ![]()
EDIT: Also the statement that something is "pure Glasgow," even if you meant it as a joke, is pretty flattering. Thanks.

Sorry to hijack the thread: message to HNB: I tried sending you email at your various addresses, and it looks like they are getting bounced back. Let me know if you didn't get two messages from me this morning.

That's pretty great. That's what she gets for locking her knees for so long! Stupid nervous lady. This happened to chicks in choir on a pretty regular basis. I think it happened to one guy.

The fainting is pretty awesome, but then the extremely awkward banter by the anchors afterwards is great. They have no idea how to act when they're not reading news.
The wide shot of her face down in the sand afterwards made me laugh the hardest. But it is always great to see anchors try to express concern and make light of a situation at the same time, because that's ALWAYS the reaction they have to shit like this.

In a hotspot center on campus I heard Whitney Houston blaring and was like... "COULD IT BE?" A bunch of kids were giggling like shit over some youtube and I was like man it MUST be.
I had to be sure.
I planned out just what to say and approached the crowd. "Hey what was that, uh.... Whitney Houston thing you were watching. On youtube?" Okay this was kind of awkward and creepy but it was justified when they revealed they were watching the Spacebat movie that a friend of mine made! So I ended up meeting a few folks with similar style of humor, and YOU ended up getting more fans of your site, and N-Philes too! EVERYONE WINS.

APRIL FOOLS. The video they were watching was this Dragonball shit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95FtVxhcT3k
I politely chuckled, then shuffled away without giving a satisfactory reason for my spying or intrusion. But I remembered what real life is like, so I'm richer for the experience.

That was almost a great story!
